I went from being a broke student with no clear future, to becoming a 7-figure full-time trader with complete freedom over my life.
This is exactly how i made it work - and you can too:
1. I built discipline outside the charts first
Before i ever became consistent in trading, i had to fix my habits in my personal life.
Waking up early, showing up when i promised that to myself, going to the gym 5x a week, etc.
You might think those things are not related to trading, but they are.
If i was inconsistent in life, i was inconsistent on the charts.
If you don't have proper structure and discipline outside the charts, you will struggle on the charts.
It's a reflection.
2. I went to college and worked side jobs while building my edge
People love to say 'quit everything and lock tf in', but that's just delusional imo.
I did the opposite.
I was still in college, and i was still working at my local supermarket.
You don't have to stop anything when you start trading, only lazy people tell you it's not possible to do both.
It's maybe not the dream life, but it paid the bills and it removed pressure from my trading.
You really don't want trading to be your only income when you're not even consistently profitable yet, trust me.
Slow and steady always wins.
3. I stopped trying to prove myself to anyone
When i started trading, i wanted validation from others.
I really wanted to show to my close circle that 'i was going to make it.'
But that is unnecessary guys.
It will put more pressure on yourself to perform.
That mindset will only make you trade worse, atleast for me that's what happened.
Eventually i just stopped caring what anyone thought, nobody around you will understand the vision and process anyway.
So why should you even tell them?
4. I stopped reinventing the wheel and studied traders better than me
For way too long, i tried to figure everything out myself, which was a huge mistake tbh.
I just thought if i 'grinded 24/7', i would find success no matter what.
But once i put my ego on the side, and started studying profitable traders, who have walked the same route as me - everything changed.
I watched live how they managed risk, how they remained calm, and just how simple their trading was.
Join a community, find people with the same goals and interests, find people who are where you want to be.
You can skip years by having the right people around you.
With that 'lone wolf' mentality you will never make it.
5. I gave this way more time than anyone else
Most people treat trading like a side hobby.
They f* around for a few months, lose money, think it's nothing for them, and move on to the next shiny object.
It just doesn't work like that man.
For me it was just all or nothing - i was ready to do this, even if it took me years. (which it did lol)
Even when i was working my side jobs, or when i was in college, i spent every free moment in to becoming a better trader.
I really didn’t 'make it' because i was so smart, no - i became successfull because i just didn’t quit.
I had a long-term vision.
Trading is a very serious job.
If you're here for the quick money, go look somewhere else please.
6. I stopped focusing on being 'right' and focused on being profitable
In the beginning i obsessed over calling the market direction perfectly, while i didn't even make money.
If price didn't do exactly what i was thinking, i felt useless and lost.
But after 1000+ trades and countless losses, i had to change that mindset.
You don’t need to be right to make money, that's the thing, you just need to follow your edge at any time.
I realized that trading is a probability game.
You could be wrong more than 50% of the time, and still grow your capital - if you have a good system that you never ignore.
I built conviction through data
When i started, i followed what other traders were doing way too much.
Random youtubers, insta gurus, you name it.
If someone on X said '$BTC looks bearish', i was scared to take a long, and i would just cancel my own idea.
I never had conviction, i always doubted myself, and it showed in my results.
You can't trade like that, you need your own system, built with your own data.
I tracked ALL my data - winrate, RR, how i managed drawdown, what days i performed the best, my behaviour in both losing and winning streaks, everything you can think of.
That gave me the confidence i needed.
Now i don’t give a f* what anyone else is doing - i trust my system because i know it works in the end.
conclusion.
Bullish on $ETH
