PANews, July 15, reported by CoinDesk, the zero-knowledge proof technology company RISC Zero has launched a decentralized ZK computing market incentive testnet (Mainnet Beta) named 'Boundless' on Coinbase's Layer2 network Base. This testnet has received early support from organizations such as the Ethereum Foundation, Wormhole, and EigenLayer.

The testnet uses a verifiable proof of work (PoVW) mechanism, allowing institutions and individuals with high-performance GPUs to participate as ZK miners in proof verification and earn rewards. Participants can obtain airdrop eligibility for the project token ZKC based on the number, speed, and complexity of the proofs generated. The mainnet and token are scheduled to officially launch in the third quarter of 2025.
