Metaplanet announced that Fidelity Investments' subsidiary NFS has become its largest shareholder.

BlockBeats reported on July 15 that Simon Gerovitch, the CEO of the publicly traded Japanese Metaplanet, stated on social media: "Metaplanet has welcomed its largest new shareholder. As of June 30, National Financial Services LLC (known as NFS) owns 84.4 million shares of the company, representing 12.9% of the total shares, with a market value of approximately 130 billion Japanese yen (equivalent to 820 million USD).

NFS is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments, primarily operating as a custodian, providing custody services for individual and institutional investors who purchase shares through the Fidelity platform."
