PANews, July 15 news, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated on the X platform that the best way to build L2 networks is to make full use of the various features provided by L1 (such as security, censorship resistance, proof mechanisms, data availability, etc.), while simplifying its own logic to act only as a sequencer and prover on top of the core execution layer (or just as a prover if sorting functionality is not needed). This model, which combines minimal trust with high efficiency, is what enterprise blockchain teams in the 2010s pursued but never achieved. Today, with the help of Ethereum's L2 networks, this goal has been realized. Moreover, we have seen many successful cases where the characteristics of the L1 network can protect user rights when issues arise in the L2 network.
