According to a monthly survey by Bank of America, optimism about economic growth and strong corporate profits is driving fund managers to return to risk assets at a record pace. The survey shows that, over the last three months, the risk levels in investors' portfolios have reached the highest level since 2001, with a significant increase in allocations to U.S. and European stocks, as well as technology shares. The July survey indicates the largest increase in U.S. stock allocations since December of last year. Allocations to technology stocks also saw the largest three-month increase since 2009. Additionally, the level of overweight in Eurozone stocks has reached a four-year high.
