According to the latest report from Messari, the total value of tokenized real assets (RWA) on Solana has surpassed 418 million USD, increasing by 140.6% since the beginning of 2025, narrowing the gap with leading competitors in this field.

Solana's growth rate in the RWA sector has been more than double the overall growth of the real asset tokenization market, which only reached 62.4% during the same period. Currently, Solana is the platform for many RWA tokenization projects, including stocks, US Treasury bonds, to institutional investment funds being brought on-chain.

"Solana attracts projects thanks to its high transaction processing speed, nearly zero costs and a strong developer ecosystem," analyst Matthew Nay of Messari noted in the report.

According to the analysis platform RWA.xyz, Solana holds 3.9% of the global RWA tokenization market share. In terms of blockchain ranking, Solana ranks fourth after Ethereum (58.4%), ZKsync Era (17.2%), and Aptos (4%).

The two largest non-stablecoin RWA protocols on Solana are Ondo, with a USD yield fund, and ONe, with an institutional investment fund. These two projects currently hold a total of 277 million USD in tokenized real assets on the Solana network.

According to data from CoinGecko, Ondo's fund has recorded cross-chain trading volume reaching 2.7 million USD in the past 24 hours. A portion of the revenue from these transactions is distributed back to hosting blockchains like Solana.

In the past 30 days, Solana generated 3.9 million USD in revenue, according to data from Token Terminal. Meanwhile, Ethereum – the leading platform in the RWA sector – recorded revenue of up to 15.9 million USD during the same period.

RWA market capitalization exceeds 25 billion USD

Tokenization of real assets – one of the prominent applications of blockchain – has surpassed the milestone of 25 billion USD in market capitalization on Wednesday. In the last 30 days, the market capitalization has increased by 6.3%, and has surged by 62.4% in the past six months.

The RWA tokenization technology is attracting interest from traditional financial institutions due to its ability to shorten processing times, faster payments, and global accessibility.

Blockchains are fiercely competing for market share. Aptos, a layer-1 blockchain developed by former Meta engineers, has seen the value of RWA increase by 52.7% in the past 30 days. Solana also rose by 14.6% during the same period, while Ethereum only increased by 3.6%.
