USDT is withdrawing support from BCH and some coins..
The world's largest stablecoin issuer Tether announced that it will terminate USDT services on 5 altcoin networks.
Tether (USDT) has decided to stop supporting five different blockchains starting September 1, 2025. In a statement, it was noted that Tether's stablecoin services on the Algorand (ALGO), Bitcoin Cash (BCH) SLP, EOS (EOS), Kusama (KSM), and Omni Network (OMNI) networks will be gradually phased out. The company announced that this step was taken as part of a strategic infrastructure assessment.
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated regarding the decision, "Ending our support for these legacy blockchains will allow us to focus on stronger platforms in terms of scalability, developer activity, and community engagement." Some networks like OMNI have been in service since 2014 when USDT was first launched. However, the usage of these networks has significantly decreased in recent years. (SOURCE)
