BTC has set a new record, first reaching $121,500 and then exceeding $122,000. While the market enthusiastically welcomed the event of Bitcoin continuously breaking records, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao also shared a post after this record. CZ stated that the new high of BTC seems small in hindsight.

In a post from his X account, CZ stated that there is no need to be overly excited about Bitcoin reaching a new all-time high, as the current price may be considered low in the coming years.

Recalling that it took three years for the price to reach $1,000 after buying BTC in 2014, CZ pointed out that that record seemed significant at the time but now accounts for less than 1% of its current value.

At this moment, CZ reminds investors that they should have a long-term view, stating that today's historical peak may only be a small phase in the future.

"After buying Bitcoin in 2014, it took me 3 years to reach the record high of $1,000 in January 2017. We were very excited. Now, that number is just a tiny fraction, less than 1%.

Today, you can be excited about the current ATH. A few years from now, it will only be a small part.

8th Birthday of BNB

Binance founder CZ also celebrated BNB's 8th anniversary alongside Bitcoin's new ATH. CZ pointed out that Binance Coin was priced at $0.06 when it started trading 8 years ago, but it has now risen to $698, an increase of more than 10,000 times.

"BNB started trading on this day 8 years ago, its price was $0.06. Today it is $698.00. It has increased more than 10,000 times.

Happy 8th Birthday!
