🚨 BREAKING: Plane Crashes After Takeoff in #london
A small aircraft has crashed just moments after taking off from Southend Airport in London this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing the plane go down seconds after takeoff, followed by a huge explosion and flames. Thick smoke was seen rising from the crash site, visible from miles away.
Emergency crews — fire trucks, ambulances, even an air ambulance — were rushed to the scene. The area is now sealed off and nearby clubs have been evacuated for safety.
The aircraft was a Beechcraft Super King Air, reportedly headed to the Netherlands. No official word yet on how many people were onboard or their condition. Investigations are underway.
