CoinVoice has recently learned that, according to Tesla's official website, Grok has landed on the Tesla in-car system. New American vehicles delivered from July 12 will come standard with this feature, allowing users to wake Grok through the in-car app or by long-pressing the voice button on the steering wheel to engage in natural language conversations, with various personality styles available.
Currently, Grok only supports Model S/3/X/Y and Cybertruck equipped with AMD infotainment processors running software version 2025.26 or higher. This feature is being launched in Beta and does not currently support direct control of vehicle functions such as navigation and air conditioning. All user conversation content will be anonymized by xAI to protect privacy. At present, vehicle owners do not need a Grok account or subscription to enable Grok in their vehicles.
In the future, Grok may be available on more Tesla models through over-the-air software updates. The availability of Grok may change or be discontinued at any time. [Original link]
