Tether will cease support for USDT on 6 less-used blockchains including: Omni, SLP (Bitcoin Cash), Kusama, EOS, Algorand, and Simple Ledger Protocol starting from September 1, 2025.
The reason is that the trading volume on these networks has decreased significantly over the past 2 years.
Tether will focus on developing on Layer 2 platforms and new generation blockchains.
