🚀 Bitcoin price predictions
Standard Chartered expects the price to reach $200,000 by the end of 2025, with $135,000 reached by the end of the third quarter.
Bitwise sees the same target at $200,000, based on institutional flows and ETF funds, with expectations for Ethereum growth as well.
JPMorgan expects Bitcoin to outperform gold in the second half of 2025, driven by increased institutional reserves and government trends toward establishing crypto reserves.
Other forecasts include: Mark Yusko ($150k), Tom Lee and Tim Draper ($250k), and PlanB with an average forecast reaching $500,000 during the post-halving cycle.
Nevertheless, some warnings indicate the possibility of a correction during the summer of 2025, by -20% to -40%, especially for Bitcoin and alternative currencies.
In summary for the second half:
> Common medium forecasts range from $150,000–$225,000, but some models (like PlanB) predict much higher averages reaching $500,000 by 2028, and some see the likelihood of exceeding $1 million as a long-term goal.
🔗 Ethereum outlook
Despite a relative decline in the first half, it is expected to recover due to institutional interest, its transition to the PoS system, and the ETF arrangements for staking.
Coinbase charts indicate the potential growth of Ethereum in the second half, although its performance will be linked to structural changes in the market such as ETF decisions for altcoins.
Potential price ranges: between $3,500 – $3,700 by the end of the year according to some reports.
