As Bitcoin matures, volatility is decreasing, and experts now expect a gradual increase,

Bitcoin set a new all-time high on Friday, hitting $118,667, nearly $7,000 higher than its early-week high.

However, according to experts, the pace of its price increase may now be slower than in the past, mainly due to the growth in the options market and the increasing maturity of Bitcoin.

Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for Bitcoin are also playing a key role in this process, having received more than $1 billion in investments on Thursday and Friday combined.

According to experts, Bitcoin's volatility is decreasing, which is due to the increasing maturity of its market and more prudent investment strategies of expert investors.

Greg Magadini, Director of Derivatives at Amber Data, explained that there is less expectation of a large and rapid increase in the price of Bitcoin now because it has become a mature and stable market, where the large investment volume has made it difficult to move the price,

In the past, for example, in 2017, Bitcoin rose by a whopping 2,360%, from $786 at the beginning of the year to $19,345 in December.

But now its price volatility has reduced considerably, as it has now come down to 29.5% from 100% in 2021,

One reason for this is the size of the options market, which has now become much larger, and investors are now providing liquidity to the market by selling call options for Bitcoin, which is reducing unnecessary price volatility,

Additionally, a new investor class is now entering the Bitcoin market, making more mature and institutional investments, particularly through ETFs, which have attracted billions of dollars in investment since January 2024.

However, it has also been said that price fluctuations will not completely disappear and that at times there may be sharp increases in prices, but this will now be for a more limited period than in the past....
