$BTC C Bitcoin is trading at over R2.1million on cryptocurrency exchange Finance in South Africa after extending a record-breaking rally for a second day.
"Bitcoins recent surge to a new all-time high is a testament to the growing adoption and recognition of cryptocurrency as a legitimate asset class" said Finances head of legal for Africa, Larry Cooke.
"As the markets continues to evolve, it's clear that digital assets are becoming increasingly intergrated in mainstream finance".
