According to Foresight News, reported by The Block, NOTUS stated that a document submitted by the U.S. Department of Justice aimed at recovering cryptocurrency obtained through fraudulent means may have inadvertently revealed that the victims of the scam are the CEO and CFO of the crypto payment company MoonPay.

The document only refers to the victims as 'Ivan' and 'Mouna'. However, as NOTUS noted, the CEO of the crypto payment company MoonPay is Ivan Soto-Wright, and the CFO is Mouna Ammari Siala. Additionally, Etherscan lists the wallet involved in the $250,300 transaction as a MoonPay wallet. The document aims to seize approximately $40,350 in USDT frozen by Tether, revealing that the two victims sent $250,300 in USDT to a person impersonating Steve Witkoff, the co-chairman of President Trump's inaugural committee.
