MoonPay's two executives allegedly transferred $250,000 to a disguised scam address

On July 13, PANews reported that a document submitted by the U.S. Department of Justice shows that Moonpay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright and CFO Mouna Ammari Siala transferred over $250,000 to a wallet address associated with a Nigerian scammer, mistakenly believing it was a donation to President Trump's inauguration committee. In the scammer's email [email protected], the letter "L" is lowercase instead of uppercase "I."
