Preparing for a blockchain game themed AMA interview next Thursday night, and rushing back to take a look at @MaplestoryU.

I have to say that MapleStory, as a blockchain game project, has very good overall control over the token price, which is something that other blockchain game projects should learn from.

Although the game token $NXPC has been steadily declining after TGE, the decline has not experienced drastic fluctuations, and there has not been a situation where it dropped 40% in an hour. The overall feeling is that after the price gently declines for a while, the project team will introduce some new operational strategies, and then the price will gradually rise back, although it has not returned to the previous peak.

The stability of game asset prices, especially the stability of token prices, is very important for player retention.

My personal experience is: if there are drastic fluctuations in the price of game assets while playing blockchain games, the game process will definitely be interrupted, and players will inevitably start asking a few questions:

-- With the price of tokens/nft assets dropping like this, should I continue playing this game?

-- Is the project team going to run away?!

-- Should I quickly sell my assets to cash out and cut losses?

Once these questions are asked, it indicates that the player's trust in the blockchain game project has been shaken, and the amount and frequency of spending money and trading game assets in the game will certainly be affected, and this is the very foundation on which blockchain game projects rely for steady operation.

Let's give a thumbs up to the excellent operators of the @MaplestoryU team! Although I don’t play this game (mainly because I am not good at this kind of gameplay), I still want to compliment: your operation and market-making rhythm are both very excellent!
