✂️ Tether will cease support for USDT and EURT on five blockchains

The company Tether announced that starting September 1, 2025, it will complete the redemption of USDT and EURT tokens and freeze their balances on the Omni, Bitcoin Cash SLP, Kusama, EOS, and Algorand blockchains.

Before making the decision, Tether conducted an audit of user activity and received feedback from partners. The company noted that these blockchains were important in the early stages, but their trading volume has significantly decreased over the past two years.
