Expectations for Crypto Week in the USA

Next week (July 14–18) will be crucial for the US crypto market.

The House of Representatives is set to vote on three pivotal pieces of legislation.

The CLARITY Act has the potential to finally clarify the classification and regulation of digital assets by the SEC and CFTC, which could reduce the uncertainty currently plaguing the sector.

The passage of the GENIUS Act, which has already cleared the Senate, would provide stablecoins with a much-needed federal framework, crucial for their broader adoption and stability.

However, the Anti-CBDC Act is particularly noteworthy. Its adoption would block the development of a US central bank digital currency, potentially having far-reaching implications for the future of digital finance in the country.

I expect at least some of these bills to pass, representing the first significant cryptocurrency legislation in US history. If they do, it will lead to greater clarity and potentially stronger institutional adoption of digital assets. However, there's a risk that political divisions could hinder the full approval of all proposals.

What are your thoughts on this?

Do you think all three bills will pass, or do you anticipate only partial success?
