🇺🇸The State Department fired more than 1,300 employees on Friday as part of a reorganization plan. According to an AP report, layoff notices were sent to 1,107 administrative staff and 246 diplomats operating in the U.S. The notices stated that the positions were canceled, and access to the department's offices and digital systems will be blocked until 5:00 PM.
