I never imagined I would write this, but I woke up today to a horrific reality - I lost my entire investment of $1600 while I was asleep. It was my worst move so far: I had placed several low-limit orders on different coins and decided to take a rest, confident in the system. When I woke up, everything had disappeared. Just like that.
The really painful thing is that this wasn't just my account - I was trading on behalf of my brother, hoping to surprise him with a profit on his birthday. I really thought I could achieve that. But instead, I ended up losing everything.
It's a harsh reminder of how deep the world of cryptocurrencies is, its volatility, and its cruelty. I try to keep myself busy so it doesn't completely consume me, but yes - it hurts. It really hurts.
