Satoshi Nakamoto's wealth surpasses that of Michael Dell as Bitcoin price approaches $118,000

Data from Arkham Intelligence and Forbes indicates that Satoshi Nakamoto, the anonymous founder of Bitcoin, now possesses a fortune that exceeds the net worth of Michael Dell, the founder and CEO of Dell Technologies.

According to estimates, Nakamoto owns about 1.1 million Bitcoins, valued at over $129 billion, while Michael Dell's wealth is around $125 billion, according to Forbes' real-time billionaire ranking.

The price of Bitcoin has recorded a new record exceeding $118,839, up 26% since the beginning of the year, and about 105% over the past 12 months, according to TradingView data.

A Bloomberg investment analyst believes that Satoshi could become the second richest person in the world if Bitcoin continues its annual growth at 50%, surpassing the fortunes of major billionaires like Warren Buffett ($143 billion) and Mark Zuckerberg ($251 billion).

It is noted that the Bitcoin believed to have been mined by Satoshi in the early years represents about 5% of the total supply and has not been moved since his disappearance in 2010, which adds to the mystery surrounding his identity and motives.
