#TradingStrategyMistakes "Buy the dip" does not mean "buy every drop."
My biggest mistake when I first got into crypto was jumping in too quickly when prices fell—without confirming the trend, without technical analysis, just fueled by FOMO and the belief that "it will definitely go up again."
🚨 At that time, I bought mid-cap altcoins during a 20% correction, thinking it was a golden opportunity. It turned out that the correction continued to -60%. I panicked, cut my losses, and ended up regretting it twice: when I bought and when I sold.
📚 Lesson:
1. Don't buy just because the price is dropping—first understand the market structure (bearish or bullish).
2. Use dollar cost averaging (DCA) with a plan, not impulsively.
3. Learn to be patient. Sometimes no trade is a trade.
After that, I started learning:
Identifying support/resistance
Using RSI & MA indicators
Risk management (maximum risk per position)
🔥 Trading is not about being right all the time, but about surviving, learning, and being consistent.
Let's make our mistakes a compass, not a trap hole.
