According to Foresight News, as reported by CryptoInAmerica, the U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote on three important cryptocurrency bills during 'Cryptocurrency Week', including the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act, and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act.
Among them, the CLARITY Act has recently sparked controversy, with the DeFi community accusing the CME Group of trying to protect its dominance in the futures market by modifying the terms of the act, limiting the development of decentralized trading protocols. Under the active lobbying of organizations like the DeFi Education Fund, lawmakers have restored key provisions to protect decentralized developers. Meanwhile, the Senate will also release its market structure discussion draft and hold hearings focused on the federal regulation of digital commodities.
