Think back to when I was 20, my roommate was starting a business, and I maxed out my credit card to support him. Another friend was having cash flow issues at his company, and I helped him with a loan. And what happened later? We became strangers.
Looking back at myself a decade ago, I had maxed out my credit card and took out online loans, and by my twenties, I was almost 200,000 in debt.
Even so, I never borrowed a single cent from anyone around me, not even my parents knew the hardships I endured. During the company's expansion, I stayed in a 20 yuan per night hotel near the train station every time I traveled for work. I even preferred waiting at the train station for the night train to save that 20 yuan, sitting on the green train heading to the next city.
