Thus, the GMX theft incident comes to an end: the hacker stole $42 million in assets from GMX, which has now increased to $45 million due to the rise in ETH today. The hacker also returned $40 million in assets to GMX, and GMX is covering the $2 million gap. The hacker made away with a $5 million white hat bounty.
