#TradingStrategyMistakes 🔁 "Buy the dip" does not mean "buy every drop."
My biggest mistake in the early days of diving into crypto was entering too quickly when the price dropped—without trend confirmation, without technical analysis, just driven by FOMO and the belief that "it will definitely rise again."
🚨 At that time, I bought mid-cap altcoins during a 20% correction, thinking it was a golden opportunity. It turned out the correction continued down to -60%. I panicked, cut my losses, and ended up regretting twice: once when I bought and once when I sold.
📚 Lesson:
1. Don't buy just because the price has dropped—understand the market structure first (bearish or bullish).
2. Use dollar cost averaging (DCA) with a plan, not impulsively.
3. Learn to be patient. Sometimes no trade is a trade.
After that, I started to learn:
Identifying support/resistance
Using RSI & MA indicators
Risk management (maximum risk per position)
🔥 Trading is not about being right all the time, but about surviving, learning, and being consistent.
Let’s make our mistakes a compass, not a trap hole.
