#TradingStrategyMistakes
š "Buy the dip" does not mean "buy every decline."
My biggest mistake in the early days of diving into crypto was entering too quickly when prices fellāwithout confirming trends, without technical analysis, just fueled by FOMO and the belief that "it will definitely go up again."
šØ At that time, I bought mid-cap altcoins during a 20% correction, thinking it was a golden opportunity. It turned out the correction continued to -60%. I panicked, cut my losses, and ended up regretting it twice: when buying and when selling.
š Lesson:
1. Donāt buy just because the price is fallingāfirst understand the market structure (bearish or bullish).
2. Use dollar cost averaging (DCA) with a plan, not impulsively.
3. Learn to be patient. Sometimes no trade is a trade.
After that, I started to learn:
Identifying support/resistance
Using RSI & MA indicators
Risk management (maximum risk per position <2%)
š„ Trading is not about being right all the time, but about surviving, learning, and being consistent.
Letās make our mistakes a compass, not a trap.
