According to Buterin, Ethereum Foundation is changing its strategy. Previously, the organization sought to cover the entire ecosystem and coordinate its work, but now it will focus on tasks that it can perform independently. The main areas of activity: development of the first level protocol (L1); creation of decentralized applications with a focus on privacy and protection from backdoors; active participation in the development of standards and tools for the ecosystem. Ethereum Foundation will be more involved in developing application solutions. In his opinion, this is a more effective way to achieve goals than criticizing existing products.

Buterin admitted that in recent years the growth rate of $ETH has been inferior to $BTC and $SOL . He noted that it is difficult to determine the reasons for such dynamics. In his opinion, the key importance is the level of influence of the L1-network - without it, Ethereum may lose its relevance.
