International tariff agreements and the extension of the tax "truce" established by the United States government for some countries have created a climate of financial optimism that has been favorable for BTC. Additionally, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, called for the Federal Reserve (Fed) to quickly lower interest rates. On his Truth Social account, he wrote:
"Our federal interest rate is at least 3 points higher [than it should be]. 'Too late' costs the U.S. 360 billion dollars per point, PER YEAR, in refinancing costs. Without inflation, companies are leaving for the United States. LOWER THE RATE!!!".
