Bitcoin recorded a new all-time high during the past few hours of trading on Wednesday and Thursday, supported by a surge led by Nvidia shares in the stock markets, which contributed to the rise in the price of the digital currency as the trading session approached its end.

The price of Bitcoin is now up 2.2%, reaching $111,390. This is at 10:00 AM Riyadh time, after the price peaked at $112,052.24, surpassing the previous record of $111,999 set on May 22.

Despite the influx of billions of dollars into Bitcoin-linked exchange-traded funds (ETFs), the currency has remained trading within a narrow range over the past few weeks. Public company purchases of Bitcoin have outpaced inflows into these funds during the second quarter of the year.
