PANews, July 10: The European Commission has announced that the General Artificial Intelligence Code of Conduct has been published. This code is designed to help the industry comply with the legislative provisions regarding General Artificial Intelligence.
The European Commission stated that the final version of the General Artificial Intelligence Code of Conduct has been released, aimed at helping businesses better comply with EU legislation related to artificial intelligence. This code of conduct was developed by 13 independent experts based on feedback from over 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises, academia, civil society organizations, and large language model providers. Currently, the European Commission and the 27 member states will review this code and decide whether to approve it. Once approved, AI model providers will have the option to sign the code. EU officials pointed out that companies signing this code will find it easier to demonstrate their compliance with the broad AI regulatory requirements in the EU.
