Bitcoin, the most well-known and traded cryptocurrency in the market, has reached a new record, above $112,000, although it has since deflated and at the opening of this Thursday it stands at $111,000.
According to data from Bloomberg collected by EFE, at 21:54 hours the day before, Bitcoin reached $112,009, a new high.
However, at 7:00 hours this Thursday (5:00 GMT), the cryptocurrency loses momentum and is at $111,048.
The last record for the cryptocurrency was when it stood at $111,980 on May 23.
Bitcoin has surpassed the $112,000 barrier at a time when trade tensions have escalated again, while the dollar continues to depreciate.
