These are truly mesmerizing visions.

One of the most unique features of Asian women is their body shape. This graceful silhouette is something that belongs only to the most beautiful Asian women. Western beauty standards often favor a slim, flat figure—like a board with edges shaved off. But that just doesn’t suit Asian women.

In a song inspired by the Gajaman story, Edward Jayakody sings what I’ve heard is a poetic expression of unspoken love sent to Gajaman Nona by a mudali of Elpitiya. One part of the song goes:

"Once again, your moon-like eyes bloomed,

And I walked around watching you like an elephant in motion,

I saw a bright red liya (sari edge) at Kahawatta,

And left without a word, seeking solace..."

And it’s true—when a woman with that kind of figure walks by, those who see her feel as though a queen or a celestial being is gliding across the ground. It’s a breathtaking sight to behold.

This morning, on my way to the office, I saw such a vision. ❤
