After several weeks fluctuating in the range of 105,000-110,000 USD, the price of Bitcoin has officially broken through the resistance zone and reached a new peak at 112,000 USD/BTC, thereby raising the total market capitalization of this cryptocurrency to 2.208 trillion USD.

Although the price of Bitcoin later adjusted slightly to around 111,000 USD, the price of Bitcoin is currently still up 0.4% day-on-day and more than 18% since the beginning of 2025, according to Reuters.

"Bitcoin is a rare asset that becomes less risky as it grows larger," said Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management. He noted that when Bitcoin's market capitalization was low, very few professional investors were interested. But now, with a scale of trillions of USD, this asset has caught the attention of most fund managers.
