The founder of pump.fun disclosed that the team has over 70 core members and will soon announce its first acquisition. On July 10, pump.fun founder Alon posted on social media revealing the future key direction:
Enhancing the quality, sustainability, and diversity of the already launched tokens, the future revenue-sharing mechanism for creators will be expanded to CTO projects, and further adjustments will be made to the fee structure. Increased investment in the 'social' field, with further investment and focus on pump.fun's live streaming functionality.
Currently, the team's foundational framework has been initially established, with over 70 core members spanning various fields including engineering, data, security, trust and compliance, legal, operations, and growth. The team will continue to actively expand through recruitment and strategic acquisitions, with the first acquisition soon to be officially announced.
