According to a report from Deep Tide TechFlow on July 10, Bitget announced that in the second quarter of 2025, 30,001,053.1 BGB will be destroyed, accounting for approximately 2.56% of the circulating supply, with a total value of about 138 million USD. The corresponding amount of BGB will be sent to the burn address, and on-chain records will be published after completion.
Previously, Bitget Token (BGB) updated its burn plan. The new burn mechanism is based on the actual use cases of BGB, linked to 'on-chain Gas fees', ensuring community transparency. The first quarterly burn was completed on April 17.
Current CoinMarketCap data shows that BGB has a market capitalization of approximately 5.1 billion USD, ranking 27th in the global cryptocurrency asset leaderboard, and third among global centralized exchange (CEX) platform tokens.
