OpenSea Acquires Rally, Enhances Focus on Mobile Experience

Leading NFT marketplace OpenSea has just acquired the mobile token management and trading app Rally (formerly known as Floor). This move aims to build an "on-chain everything app" with a strong emphasis on mobile experience.

The Vision of "Mobile First"

With this merger, Rally's co-founders, Chris Maddern (now CTO of OpenSea) and Christine Hall (now Chief of Staff at OpenSea), will join OpenSea's executive team. Maddern stated that token trading is the fastest-growing activity of #OpenSea . Hall emphasized that OpenSea is reshaping the mobile experience "from the ground up" to seamlessly integrate tokens and NFTs, creating "a single home for crypto on the phone." She predicts that mobile user growth will far exceed desktop.
