1. Price Structure and Moving Average System

An upward trend must meet the criteria of 'continuously higher highs (HH) and higher lows (HL)', while a downward trend is the opposite.

Moving Average Slope Direction: The strength of the trend is judged by three sets of moving averages (MA20/60/120). When the moving averages are in a bullish arrangement (MA20 > MA60 > MA120) and diverging upwards, the upward trend is established.

2. Volume Resonance and Breakout Signals

Volume-Price Coordination: A genuine breakout requires the trading volume to increase to more than 150% of the recent average volume, while low-volume breakouts are often false signals.

Key Position Breakout: Breaking through a densely traded area (where moving averages are closely packed and the distance < 2%) or trendline resistance marks the initiation of a trend.
