Opened a free center for adolescents to study robotics and programming in the City of Buenos Aires
It operates at the Metropolitan Design Center (CMD), in the Barracas neighborhood, and is open to young people from public and private schools. Additionally, it offers workshops in animation, video game development, graphic design, audiovisual production, music, and 3D modeling.
Robotics, along with programming, is considered one of the fundamental skills for the labor market of the future. Its teaching allows the development of competencies in areas such as logic, mathematics, electronics, and mechanics, while simultaneously training transversal abilities such as critical thinking, teamwork, and innovation.
Various international organizations, such as UNESCO and the World Economic Forum, already place it among the core disciplines to prepare new generations for automation and technological changes.
In this context, the City of Buenos Aires has enabled a new educational space aimed at students aged between 12 and 18 years, with free workshops focused on training in robotics, programming, and other technological disciplines. The center operates in the building of the Metropolitan Design Center (CMD), in the Barracas neighborhood, and is open to young people from public and private schools.
