Emirates Airlines will start accepting bitcoins for booking airline tickets in 2025 after signing a memorandum of understanding with Crypto.com at an event in Dubai.

Emirates Airlines has signed a memorandum of understanding with Crypto.com to integrate cryptocurrency payments using Crypto.com Pay. This announcement was made at a ceremony in Dubai attended by Emirates leadership, including His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum. It is expected that after the launch in 2025, bitcoin and Ethereum will be accepted for payment. Although the memorandum does not specify financial details, it confirms Emirates’ innovative approach to payments.
