HOW TO DISTINGUISH IMPULSE FROM FALSE BREAKOUT IN SMC❓

Here’s how to tell one from the other:
✅ Signs of a false breakout (BSL / SSL):
- Rapid liquidity removal
- Immediate pullback inside the range
- No consolidation at the level
- On a lower timeframe — sharp impulse and return
✅ Signs of an impulse:
- Clear CHoCH on HTF
- Price consolidates above/below key level
- OB or FVG appears in the direction of movement
- Sequence of HH/HL (or LL/LH)
⚡️Impulse is not just a movement, but a structural shift and confirmation on a higher timeframe.
📌 Conclusion:
☑️ Don’t enter "on impulse" — wait for a retest to OB or in the OTE + FVG zone.
☑️ The impulse will confirm itself, a false breakout will return to previous values.
