In the current Web3 space, to be honest, too many projects are just making empty promises and gimmicks; the roadmaps are more extravagant than ever, but how many can truly be implemented and run effectively?
One of the few projects that I have been following recently is ICN Protocol, which is one of the few that is genuinely running a business. Not to mention, their system handles actual requests exceeding 1.5 billion times weekly, not testnet data, not presentations, but real businesses using it.
It provides the foundational infrastructure for Web3 'cloud services,' but unlike traditional centralized clouds. ICN has broken down the entire system into four core modules: scheduling, storage, verification, and resource allocation, each of which is independent and pluggable microservices. If you want to develop, you can directly connect through interfaces, ensuring full compatibility and flexibility.
What impressed me the most is their node system — HyperNode. Each node needs to bind 2500 units of $ICNT , combining privacy computing, hardware trust, encryption proofs, and other technologies, which can provide stable computing power and bandwidth returns while maximizing data privacy.
The performance over the past 90 days has also been robust: processing 2 billion requests, writing 250PB of data, with an average response time of only 210ms and availability reaching 99.985%. With these metrics, there's no need for hype; it’s all about real strength.
The positioning of $ICNT is also quite clear: it serves as the 'fuel' for system operations, acts as collateral for mining, and can also be used for community voting governance. With a total supply of 700 million, the distribution is reasonable, with 20% specifically allocated for the node ecosystem.
Currently, the early staking rewards for nodes are quite good. If you are interested in 'decentralized cloud services' or looking for a project that is truly grounded and has business support, you might want to seriously study ICNT. It doesn’t make a lot of noise, but both the technology and data are quite reassuring.
