Now I ask you: If you really became wealthy, how do you plan to convert your U into cash?
A few years ago, everyone might have thought that cashing out was a technical skill; as long as it could be converted, that was enough. But now the risks are different.
In today's market, an increasing amount of abnormal funds are beginning to flow in, especially for some highly speculative currencies, like certain MEME coins, shitcoins, and air projects, which are heavily colored by capital games, have significant fluctuations, and carry extremely high risks.
What’s even scarier is that many projects are actually operated by gray production teams or fraud groups under the guise of Web3. They package and pump in ways familiar to us, harvest profits, and even use virtual currencies for money laundering.
This has led to an increase in “dirty” money; some funds may appear to be from trading on the surface, but the underlying connections are anything but clean.
You might just be engaging in a regular over-the-counter trade, but once you get caught up in it, having your account frozen or your funds investigated is no exaggeration. Tens of thousands of U could be lost completely.
You may think it’s just buying and selling coins, but the law does not see it that way:
If the amounts involved are large, it may be classified as “aiding information network crimes” (aiding crime); if the on-chain paths are chaotic, it may also involve money laundering issues; coupled with illegal forex, firewall evasion... risks stack upon one another, and once a minefield is stepped on, it is basically impossible to appeal.
Especially at this stage, everyone knows: the government is not unaware of virtual currencies, they just haven’t taken comprehensive action yet. The fact that certain platforms can survive doesn’t mean you can stay safe forever. Sometimes policy is not a breeze, it’s a knife.
When your funds start leaking out, you only realize how expensive flesh is when you are targeted.
So now I advise my friends around me:
Don't just focus on the K-line; you also need to think about how to “exit.”
Getting rich is not the end goal; being able to keep it is the real skill. Engage in long-term, compliant activities, and avoid those seemingly “overnight success” opportunities. Safety first, profit second. Otherwise, no matter how much you flip, it just means giving others a chance to cash in.
