The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has just unveiled its first official guide on the transparency obligations of crypto ETFs. This crucial 12-page document requires issuers to clearly explain the management of underlying assets, custody mechanisms, as well as the risks associated with market fluctuations and intense competition.

In other words, this is the first official framework set by the special team tasked with developing crypto regulations in the United States. The aim was initially to respond to the increasing number of exchange-traded fund requests and then to sort them out; the bet has been successful!
