Kaito urges projects to hand over airdrop claims to the platform.

Kaito's founder Yu Hu stated that regarding the Humanity airdrop on June 25, Kaito learned more details about Kaito Yapper's share from the team. He stated that the Humanity team has added more conditions for the airdrop eligibility of Yapper and Kaito Staker, including:

  • Everyone must complete fingerprint verification on the Humanity website before the airdrop.

  • Kaito pledgers need to bind their wallets holding sKAITO/YT-sKAITO.

  • Yapper needs to bind their wallet during the period after the airdrop checker opens and before claiming starts.

  • The Humanity team has also added strict anti-witch mechanisms, mainly based on the quality of recommendations.

In response, Yu Hu stated that for future projects, they will more strongly require them to let Kaito handle the airdrop distribution. The author added: this indicates that Kaito serves merely as an intermediary platform, providing the airdrop list to the project parties, but the distribution of the airdrop is still executed by the project parties.

Eclipse self-establishes a Twitter list, and decentralization is on the way.

Another project, Eclipse, which is about to issue tokens, has its community leader Alucard openly stating that Eclipse used Kaito's data to create its own private Twitter list, removing so-called haters, airdrop farmers, and scripted matrix accounts. He also believes that other projects will follow their approach, indicating that decentralization is already in progress.

Some in the comment section believe this is exactly what InfoFi needs, Kaito provides the data, and the project assesses and makes the final decision. However, others believe that negative opinions should not be deleted, as people can provide constructive criticism. This should be a welcomed action. But Alucard replied that the project can decide what constitutes constructive criticism and what is meaningless criticism.
