Tariffs Letters: Donald Trump has made public the letters on tariffs, starting with those sent to Japan and South Korea, announcing a 25% tariff on products from these countries starting August 1. Tariffs on the EU: Trump announced that within two days he will send a letter to the European Union indicating which tariffs will be imposed starting August 1. Trump also stated, "We are choosing fair and low tariffs, but some countries may receive letters with tariffs of 60-70%."

Threat to pro-Brics countries: Trump has threatened to impose a 10% increase on countries that support the Brics.
