Eigen Labs Layoffs 25%, Restructuring EigenCloud Product Direction

Eigen Labs laid off 29 employees, accounting for 25% of the total workforce, in order to restructure resources and focus on the EigenCloud development platform. Despite a16z's recent investment of $70 million, the company stated that the layoffs are unrelated to its financial situation, and funds remain sufficient.

CEO Sreeram Kannan stated that this move aims to focus on the core scenarios of the product and optimize team structure to support long-term development. Affected employees will receive accelerated vesting of tokens, three months' salary, and career support.
