Trends, tracks, and hotspots are actually three stories with different "lengths of time".
In simple terms, they all rely on storytelling to attract attention.
A trend is like a big story that can be told over ten or twenty years, a long-term narrative;
Opportunities in a track usually last about six months to a year;
And hotspots, well, they might be popular for just a month or two, coming quickly and going just as fast.
So, chasing hotspots can easily lead to significant losses.
Because by the time you notice someone making money off a certain hotspot, when you rush in, you basically become a "latecomer".
However, if you are chasing a track, it's different.
You see the first batch of people making money, and if you get in, you can still ride the main wave, because the story of this track hasn't been fully told yet.
As for trends, that's even more stable.
With a rhythm of ten or twenty years, the main tracks may change and evolve in the process.
But as long as you align yourself with the big trend and don't make random moves, the chances of losing significantly are quite low.
