Jeff Bezos, founder and CEO of Amazon, has again sold shares of his company worth approximately US$ 736.7 million or equivalent to Rp 11.9 trillion at the end of June 2025. This sale involved more than 3.3 million shares and was conducted through a scheduled trading scheme 10b5-1 designed since March 2025, allowing for planned stock sales without the risk of insider trading allegations.
Although he has not served as CEO since 2021, Bezos remains Amazon's largest individual shareholder with an ownership of about 9.6%. This stock sale is part of a personal wealth management strategy and to fund various projects such as the space company Blue Origin and philanthropic activities through the Day One Fund.
Previously, on his wedding day in Venice, Italy, Bezos also sold Amazon shares worth more than US$ 5.4 billion as part of wealth diversification. This large-scale stock sale indicates that Bezos continues to use Amazon shares as a primary funding source for various business and social initiatives.#amazon $BTC
